In addition to various placement tests ELI has recently adopted Cambridge local examination syndicate quick placement test to determine the learners’ level.

This test is divided into two parts :

• Part One (Questions 1 - 40) - for all students.

• Part Two (Questions 41 - 60) - do not start this part unless told to do so by your test supervisor.

this test is supplemented by a listening test and an interview so as to determine the learner's level with precision .

the timing of the test is 30 minutes (Part Two, the listening and the interview parts are not included).

In order to make the placement test more practical for learners to sit for, ELI has made it possible to take Part One online .
